Since, we introduced the Checkpoint Friendly™ Laptop Bag we've had customers who've been told to remove their laptops from the bag for screening. This isn't the fault of the bag. TSA is moving as quickly as possible to deploy signage and new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to their screeners. We've been in touch with TSA and they assure us they are making good progress toward accepting this entirely new class of carryon luggage. We have it on good authority that the system will be up to speed by the middle of September. Aerovation Products has lapped the field in bringing the CPF™Laptop Bag to market.

We've also added the CPF™seal to all our checkpoint-friendly products. This seal ensures that you have a genuine Aerovation® Checkpoint Friendly™Laptop Bag.

The Aerovation® Checkpoint Friendly™ Laptop Bag allows you to go through a security checkpoint without having to remove your laptop from the bag. We designed the bag to present the laptop computer to the X-ray screening apparatus without all your other things obstructing or complicating the view. We made the bag out of the finest materials to protect your laptop while assisting the TSA in protecting us. The TSA security officers will appreciate this as much as you do.

The Checkpoint Friendly™Laptop Bag works by holding your laptop computer in a separate compartment from the accessories and other items. The two compartments are joined at the top by simple D-rings and the handles. When you approach the screening checkpoint you pull the two compartments apart (they are secured with a little Velcro™) place the bag on the belt and allow it to go through without removing your laptop from the bag. At the other end you lift the bag from the belt and the two compartments fall together automatically and you're on your way! Aerovation's patent pending hinge on top design doesn't require you to unzip the compartments from each other like some competing products. You don't even have to take the bag off your shoulder to separate the compartments. It's that simple!

Since, we anticipate a lot of copy cats we have filed for patent protection of both our design and the method for using this bag. So far, we've filed 2 applications for patents and will have the 3rd patent application filed soon.
